history? Here's your chance to do just that. Birdland Tours can show
you dozens of birds in an easy 2 hour morning stroll. Plus you'll learn
about the history of the beautiful town of Jacumba,
Ca. Located 70 miles east of San
Diego and 45 miles west of El
Centro, Ca. This is a haven for many common and rare
birds.
Starting in June (Maybe sooner) on Sundays at 8 a.m. we will be meeting in the parking lot of the famous Jacumba Spa . Be prepared for a leisurely walk around town where you'll see many birds and historic landmarks. Be sure to ask about the free introductory tour.
How to get to the Jacumba Spa
From San Diego take Interstate-8 70 miles east to the Boulevard-Hwy 94 Off ramp. Turn right and go 1/2 mile south to the town of Boulevard then turn left on Hwy 80. Travel 8 miles East to Jacumba and the “Jacumba Spa”.
From El Centro take Interstate-8 40 miles west up the "Mountains Springs Grade" and pass by the majestic "Desert View Tower" to the Jacumba Off ramp. There are two gas stations at the off ramp in case you need to fill up. Follow the signs 4 miles to Jacumba and the “Jacumba Spa”.
